Copyright Policy

How copyright reports and takedowns are handled.

Last updated: 11 June 2026

1. Respect for Rights

BioLinkHQ expects users to respect copyright, trademarks, personality rights, and other intellectual property rights.

Users should only upload or publish content they own, have permission to use, or are legally allowed to share.

This includes images, logos, music references, videos, graphics, written content, team branding, and profile assets.

2. Reporting Infringement

Copyright owners or authorised representatives may report allegedly infringing content by contacting BioLinkHQ with enough information to identify the content and ownership claim.

A useful report should include the copyrighted work, the BioLinkHQ URL, your contact details, a statement that you believe use is unauthorised, and confirmation that the information is accurate.

BioLinkHQ may request more information before taking action.

3. Takedown Process

BioLinkHQ may remove, restrict, or disable access to content that appears to infringe copyright or other rights.

Users may be notified where appropriate and may be given an opportunity to respond.

BioLinkHQ may preserve relevant records where needed for dispute handling, repeat infringement review, or legal compliance.

4. Counter-Notices

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may contact BioLinkHQ with an explanation and supporting information.

BioLinkHQ may restore content where appropriate, but is not required to restore content that creates legal, safety, or platform risk.

Repeated false or abusive counter-claims may result in account action.

5. Repeat Infringers

Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing or disputed content may be restricted, demonetized, suspended, or permanently removed.

BioLinkHQ may also restrict verification, team visibility, or monetization for repeat infringement concerns.

False copyright reports may also result in enforcement.

6. Trademarks and Brand Misuse

BioLinkHQ may remove content that impersonates brands, misuses logos, falsely claims affiliation, or misleads users about official status.

Fan, parody, or commentary pages should be clearly labelled and should not create confusion.

Teams and businesses must be especially careful when using logos or names they do not own.
