How BioLinkHQ collects, uses, protects and processes data.

Last updated: 11 June 2026

1. Overview

BioLinkHQ collects information needed to run accounts, public profiles, teams, messaging, analytics, referrals, monetization, support systems, integrations, and security features.

This policy explains what information may be collected, why it is used, and how it may be shared with trusted providers.

BioLinkHQ does not sell personal data.

2. Information You Provide

BioLinkHQ may collect account details such as name, email address, profile image, username, display name, bio, social links, page settings, uploaded images, team information, business details, and public profile content.

If you use creator, team, monetization, referral, or support features, additional information may be processed to provide those features.

Messages, support interactions, moderation reports, appeals, and safety-related submissions may be processed to protect users and enforce platform rules.

3. Information Collected Automatically

BioLinkHQ may collect technical data such as IP address, device type, browser, operating system, referral source, page views, clicks, timestamps, session information, authentication cookies, and general usage patterns.

Analytics data may be used to provide dashboard statistics, detect abuse, improve performance, and understand how public pages are used.

Some analytics are privacy-safe and may be aggregated or limited where possible.

4. OAuth and Integrations

When you connect services such as Discord, Google, Stripe, or other integrations, BioLinkHQ may process information returned by those services to authenticate your account or provide features.

Discord-related features may process identifiers, usernames, avatars, server-related details, linked roles, or selected public information depending on the feature used.

Payment-related verification is handled through payment providers such as Stripe. BioLinkHQ may receive verification status, account identifiers, payout status, or transaction metadata, but does not directly store full card details.

5. How Information Is Used

BioLinkHQ uses information to create accounts, display public pages, operate dashboards, provide analytics, enable messaging, support teams, process referrals, support monetization, prevent fraud, enforce rules, and improve the platform.

Information may also be used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, bug fixing, customer support, legal compliance, and payment provider requirements.

Public content you publish may be visible to anyone who visits your page.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

BioLinkHQ uses cookies and browser storage for authentication, sessions, preferences, referral tracking, analytics, security, and feature functionality.

Clearing cookies or local storage may sign you out, reset preferences, remove local drafts, or break referral/session tracking until you sign in again.

Some dashboard or support features may rely on temporary browser state.

7. Support Chat

BioLinkHQ may provide live support chat features. Depending on the implementation, some support sessions may be ephemeral and not stored in the database.

If transcript download is available, the transcript may be generated in the browser for the user or support agent to manually download.

Support systems may still process temporary technical data while the chat is active, such as connection status, account identity, and messages in transit.

8. Data Sharing

BioLinkHQ may share data with trusted service providers only as needed to operate the platform.

These may include hosting providers, database providers, authentication services, payment processors, email services, media storage, analytics infrastructure, security tools, and integration providers.

BioLinkHQ may disclose information if required by law, legal process, fraud investigation, payment provider rules, user safety, or platform protection.

9. Data Retention

BioLinkHQ keeps information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce policies, and maintain platform security.

Public content may remain visible until deleted, hidden, or removed.

Some logs, moderation records, payment metadata, fraud signals, and analytics may be kept longer where needed for safety, compliance, or investigation.

10. Your Choices

You may update public profile content, remove links, change page settings, leave teams, clear cookies, or request account-related changes where supported.

You may request deletion of your account or certain data, although some records may need to be retained for legal, payment, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

Public content copied, cached, screenshotted, indexed, or shared by others may not be fully removable by BioLinkHQ.

11. Security

BioLinkHQ uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect user information.

No system is perfectly secure, and BioLinkHQ cannot guarantee absolute security.

Users should protect their account credentials and report suspected compromise quickly.
